Stitch Guide Essentials (Suzanne Hicks)

Suzanne calls her stitch guides "stitch plans" for a reason--she encourages experimentation.  As part of that philosophy she's come up with a list of things she likes in stitch guides and outlines them on her blog, hoping that folks will come up with more ideas of what an ideal stitch guide looks like.
http://suzannehicks.blogspot.com/2015/06/stitching-plans-by-suzanne.html

It's an interesting read for stitch guide writers who have their own Ideal Guide in mind as they write and who are always trying to improve their stitch guides so that stitchers will like them--and of course!-- buy more from the same writer.

You can read a bit more about Suzanne's guides here.
http://suzannehicks.blogspot.com/2016/03/did-you-know-that-i-have-stitch-guides.html

Thanks for outlining the essentials, Suzanne.  It's food for thought.
